Cathy recently completed an expedition to Everest Base Camp
A Co Down mountaineer is set to take on a walking challenge with a difference this weekend as she walks the length of the Mourne Mountain Wall barefoot.
"He walked from Cork to Ballintoy and inspired me to start barefooting. During the first lockdown, I didn't have shoes on for about three months and found that the mental and physical benefits were great. "Historically the Mourne Wall was seen as a big challenge and it is probably the most iconic Mourne challenge there is," she continued.
