Northern Ireland people want stronger protections for nature according to a new LucidTalk poll commissioned by RSPB NI.
In a bid to highlight the changes needed, the charity has launched its new Nature Positive NI campaign ahead of the COP15 biodiversity summit in Montreal. Mr Martin said: “Northern Ireland has been ranked as the twelfth worst region in the world for biodiversity loss, we cannot allow this to continue.
“Environmental governance in Northern Ireland has been really poor and continues to be really poor... that’s a huge threat.
