Football Insider has been told by Frank McAvennie that Kieran Tierney could still join Newcastle United if he leaves Arsenal this summer.

Newcastle have held extensive talks with the 26-year-old’s camp about a potential move in recent months.the Magpies have ended their interest in the left-back after completing a deal for Chelsea’s Lewis Hall. Tierney has been linked with a move away for much of the summer after struggling for game time last term.
The Scotland international was left out of the matchday squad for the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Monday , despite both Oleksandr Zinchenko and new signing Jurrien Timber sidelined with injuries.
