A new weather warning has been issued for parts of the UK tomorrow.Strong winds and heavy rain are expected to batter the areas throughout Thursday and spread into the West Midlands and parts of the North.
Forecasters are expecting a ‘brief spell of heavy rain and strong, gusty winds perhaps causing some transport disruption and flooding’. The warning is in place from 10am to 7pm, though conditions will differ depending on the area throughout the warning period.After a summer drought, most of the country has seen spells of torrential rain, particularly Scotland.The warning covers Wales, much of southern England and strays into parts of the North and Midlands Recent wet weather meant a hosepipe ban covering more than 15 million people could be lifted this week.
