“We’re so proud to have created something that reflects the excellence of Black Creators and mirrors their authentic voices.” In keeping with the platforms ambition to pursue work which reflects the needs and aspirations of the Black community, through championing the initiatives that matter most, this year, they are supporting two organisations GTA Black Women in Tech and Glitch to further their work and provide unique opportunities.
BLXCK EU, TikTok’s employee resource group for the Black community in Europe, said: “TikTok is a place where people of all identities can thrive and support one another. We have a vibrant and diverse Black community on our platform, who we love to celebrate all year round and especially during Black History Month.
