AN initiative aimed at helping the elderly recollect their favourite sporting moment is coming to Drumchapel following a successful launch in Clydebank.
Sporting Memories are a club which uses the remembering of and talking about sport alongside physical activity to support older people aged 50+ to live better lives, including those living with dementia, depression, or living in isolation and lonely circumstances. And the charity says they are 'delighted' to be expanding their network to “The Drum” with the support of Drumchapel United.
"And if that isn’t enough, there’s also the opportunity to have a cup of tea or coffee at half-time.
