A 20mph speed limit is set to be enforced on a key city centre road where 'reckless' pedestrians often take a chance crossing when the lights are red. Shoppers have raised the concerns over the crossing located outside Victoria Centre, in Lower Parliament Street.
The 21 year old added: "It is always extremely busy and I think this is something that drivers expect to see. I do not understand why people do this. Nadiia Klasnikova, a volunteer who lives in Sneinton, added: "People only look straight when they cross. I think it is very dangerous."
