Facilities include an arcade and 80-seat restaurant
A new Skegness holiday park has opened this summer after an £11 million pound investment. The Haven Holiday Park is based on the site if the former Richmond Holiday Park, with new facilities including an 80-seater restaurant called The Richmond Arms in a nod to the former business.
Caz Johnson, head of food and beverages at Haven Skegness who also worked at Richmond Holiday Park for the previous four years, said: "When it was Richmond it needed a huge renovation but I did absolutely love it as Richmond too. We do table service through an app in The Richmond Arms and locals can come to the restaurant too."Luke Callen, general manager at Haven Holidays, said: "I was here last year when it was Richmond and know what it was like as a family-waited business.
The new park offers entertainment including kart hire, bungee trampolines, an indoor pool and an arcade. It is dog friendly and has new food and drink options including Cook's Fish & Chips, Papa John's and Burger King.
