The major developments are among five to be decided next week

Plans for new neighbourhoods with thousands of homes, a school and a health centre in North Manchester are set to be approved next week. The major development is part of a £4bn project to rejuvenate this part of the city.

The committee will also hear an objection to a tree preservation order in Fallowfield at its next meeting. Here are all the developments set to be discussed at the town hall meeting taking place on Thursday . 1,551 homes at Dantzic Street Full planning permission for three plots of land along Dantzic Street will also be considered by the committee. Just 5 pc of the 1,551 homes planned for this site next to FEC's 634-home Victoria Riverside scheme would be affordable.

The new building on the corner of Chichester Road South and Moss Lane West would accommodate 20 classrooms, an assembly space and a study centre. Two Hulme councillors have raised concerns over consultations with the local community about the application, but council officers have backed it.
