Plans are submitted to transform a Grade II listed industrial site into new houses and flats.
Plans for a new housing development on the derelict site of a Grade II listed factory have been submitted.
It could see 97 town houses and apartments built at the old Bective Works shoe and boot factory in Kingsthorpe, Northampton.West Northamptonshire Council is due to discuss the application on Wednesday, 8 November. Developer Jardine Homes Ltd has proposed converting the factory into flats and town houses, with a further 21 terraced houses nearby.
The area also includes 20th Century industrial buildings, which previously housed taxi firms, offices, retail space and a youth gym.
