An old pub site is currently undergoing a huge transformation
Carlton has ‘potential’, local residents agree as the demolition of an old pub progresses. Many said they feel like new houses are a positive thing for the area.
The Earl of Chesterfield was demolished back in 2017. When the pub was demolished people then called the site an ‘eyesore.’ Local resident Richard, who is now retired has lived in Carlton since the 70s, said he was a regular at the Earl of Chesterfield.
