The proposal has attracted 20 objections, covering issues such as noise and light and traffic concerns
Members of the planning committee will be asked to approve plans for the new £48 million Dumfries High School tomorrow.
It will also see the demolition of the existing school, the David Keswick Athletics Centre and the Greystone Foundation building. No objections have been raised by Scottish Water, the council’s flood risk management team, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency or Police Scotland. Sportscotland has yet to respond to the plans.
