The league had failed to take off again post Covid but, with a new venue, action is soon to begin again
Chair of Scottish Futsal, Stephen Chatila, revealed the positive news to the PA and is excited to get the ball rolling again.There previously was a successful and well-attended league in the Fair City but, post Covid, it failed to get going again.
“This new league can be an outlet for youngsters as there seems to be a lot more kids wanting to play futsal now. “You come up against countries who take futsal a lot more serious than this country has and all of a sudden you see the potential of where you can aim for.The benefits of the sport, Mr Chatila said, are wide-ranging.
