It's setting up shop in the former Cosmo restaurant
A new all-you-can-eat buffet is heading to Nottingham - setting up shop in the former Cosmo restaurant. Panda Mami describes itself as a "critically acclaimed restaurant group that rivals high end buffet restaurants more commonly found in 5 star hotels" in the Far East.
Buffet restaurant Cosmo, above shops in Milton Street, closed last November, saying it had been forced to shut after the group terminated the operation agreement with the outlet’s operator. The restaurant had been there for seven years. Panda Mami, which has sites in Chester, Manchester and York, serves food from around the world, with more than 100 dishes available every day from sushi and Chinese to Indian and pizzas. Live cooking stations will also provide entertainment while dishes are cooked in front of customers.Panda Mami's website says: "It’s a casual dining experience like no other, offering a balanced choice of delicious food and exceptional value for money at one set price within luxurious surroundings.
Cocktails are also served with 2-4-1 deals available, plus hot drinks and freshly made lemon or peach iced tea. Panda Mami has attracted positive reviews. A visitor to the Chester restaurant said: "The best place, delicious food, good staff. The downside is that it's always packed and if you don't have a reservation you'll be waiting! Otherwise it's great."
Another commented: "The best restaurant in York, team are amazing from when you walk through the door to when you finish. Food is outstanding, the live cooking stations are faultless. We will keep returning"
