Denzel Dumfries contributed to all of the Netherlands’ goals as they advanced to the quarter-finals of the World Cup with a 3-1 win over the United States.
After struggling for the opening 10 minutes, Memphis Depay gave the Dutch the lead with a tidy finish. Dumfries was again the provider as he delivered a similar pass into the box for Blind to steer home, leaving Matt Turner static before berating his defence.
