The well-behaved boy was playing outside his Glasgow home when all of a sudden he disappeared. Alarms were raised when his mum, Margaret-Ann Cummings, called police. At around 11pm that night Mark's body was discovered in a body bag after he had been beaten and sexually assaulted.Stuart Leggate, who was a convicted peadophile, lived in the apartment block with his father. He was later found guilty of the heinous crime.
Margaret-Ann continues to campaign for a web-based public registry containing information about high-risk sex offenders, which can be searched by name or postcode.
