Detectives are continuing to quiz a man and a woman after two boys were found dead at a home in east London.
The two-year-old and five-year-oldA woman was arrested shortly afterwards when police were called to a disturbance at another house a street away.
The Metropolitan Police said the male was detained later in the day and that both are known to the children. Father-of-two Sultan Wadud, 40, who lives on the same road, said: ‘Between 1.30pm and 2pm I heard a loud scream or a shout.’‘I only moved into the area about a year ago. The area is very quiet.‘It’s scary and sad at the same time knowing what’s happened, especially being a parent myself with two small kids .Another neighbour, Sebastian Asiedu, 43, said: ‘Yesterday I saw the police officers and ambulance all over but I didn’t know what was going on until I heard from the news that two children .
