The timetable covers the substitute bank holidays
Nottingham City Transport has announced its bus timetable for Christmas and New Year's Eve. The company has also shared detail about the schedule across the wider festive period, including over the substitute bank holidays and Christmas Eve.
Buses will not be running on Christmas Day - which this year falls on a Sunday - and Boxing Day. Buses run as normal up until Friday, December 23, and will resume as such on January 3.NCT daytime services: The next bank holiday is set to be on Monday, December 26 - Boxing Day. That's because the bank holiday for Christmas Day, which falls on a Sunday this year, is moving to Tuesday, December 27. A move always occurs if a bank holiday falls on a weekend.
As for the new year, well the dates are all set and the first bank holiday in 2023 will be on Monday, January 2 - a substitute day for New Year's Day, which also falls on a Sunday.
