Nationwide is currently offering consumers £200 to switch to its current account – the biggest upfront cash offering since 2017.
The FlexPlus account costs £13 a month and includes worldwide travel, mobile phone and European breakdown cover.
It is also available for those switching to the free FlexAccount – an everyday bank account where members can bank online and in branch for no fee.Consumers can get a £175 bonus just by opening an account and then, within three months, completing a switch from another current account and pay in £1,000 or more.Those who cannot pay in £1,000 can get a £20 bonus just by opening an account and using the account within the first three months.
