The National Television Awards will be presented by Joel Dommett at the O2 in London
The red carpet will be rolled out as stars from the world of the small screen gather for the annual National Television Awards. Voting has now closed for the annual ceremony with Strictly Come Dancing, Happy Valley and The Great British Bake Off among the shows up for an award.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 15 at The O2 in London. It will also be broadcast live on ITV from 8pm. The event will be hosted by comedian Joel Dommett and Alison Hammond will compete against Martin Lewis, Claudia Winkleman, Ant and Dec ion the Best TV Presenter category. Sarah Lancashire and James Norton will be up against each other in the category of Best Drama Performance for their stellar turns as Catherine Cawood and Tommy Lee Royce respectively in the BBC's Happy Valley.We thought it would be perfect timing to test your knowledge of the best TV of 2022.
2022 was also the year former health secretary Matt Hancock entered the jungle and took part in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson is among those rumoured to be heading to Australia this year.
