My Mum, Your Dad star Roger Hawes captured the hearts of viewers, when he revealed how his wife Joanna passed away from cancer 18 months ago.
Alongside a picture of the happy couple posing on a sandy beach with big smiles, Roger said: "It’s been hard to keep it a secret but the wait is finally over - me and the beautiful @janeybombshell are still going strong and have never been better since." Touchingly, he added: "We couldn’t be happier together and it wouldn’t be possible without @itv."
A third echoed fans' wishes for a follow-up show from Davina, saying: "It's been a real joy watching this series. Wishing you both every happiness - hope there's a reunion show." And a fourth said: "You pair are perfect together. I hope life is good to you both and that your relationship blossoms." Following Martin H and Tolullah's exit from the show, Paul and Natalie, Roger and Janey, Elliott and Sharon and Martin M and Monique were all matched and enjoyed their final dates together.
Irish presenter Craig Doyle wasted no time in quizzing the group on the other potential partnerships, as he asked: "Chat in the office has been how long before the kids start getting together?"
