The 29-year-old had purchased the trampoline for her four-year-old son during the summer holidays and says local children have enjoyed playing on it in the garden.

A Scots mum is furious after her housing association ordered her to remove her son's trampoline from their shared garden and threatened to charge her if they had to do it themselves.

But she claims Harbour Homes tried to remove it while she was at work and says they ignored neighbours who are keen for it to stay, Edinburgh Live reports. "They sent out a letter saying that they will be removing the trampoline, they’re going to charge for the removal as well and they’ll be removing all the toys that they deem fit as they believe that they should be tided up when not in use and that they are a health and safety hazard."

"I feel like they don’t care about the mental health of our kids, all the parks in the area are being done up so there is nowhere for them to go. Caitlin said she understands that trampolines are banned in the estate policy and her lease but believes it is a ridiculous policy if measures have been taken to ensure it is safe.
