Nicole Murphy, 18, tragically died alongside Zoey Coffey and Grace McSweeney, also 18, and her 24-year-old brother, Luke, last weekend.
The mother of a teenage girl who was killed in a horror crash last weekend has said her daughter's dreams were "taken from her".
In an emotional speech at her funeral, Nikki's heartbroken mother, Serena, told how her daughter was the "life and soul of our family" and the "boss at Christmas". The Irish Mirror reports that the grieving mother told how Nikki loved to decorate the Christmas tree and she remembered how she used to stare at the angel on top of it and remark how beautiful it was."We wish we could’ve had her for eternity…but she’s now in our hearts forever.
Nikki was “so thrilled” and "couldn’t believe" she had gotten the results, even triple-checking them because she thought they must’ve been someone else’s, Serena said.Nikki's devastated mum went on to tell how the family went out for breakfast that morning and that they sat planning her future. Her daughter, she said, wanted to do a course in midwifery in Cork, with her end goal being radiography - a job she "dreamt for" since she was a little girl.
