'It took a year to get that hallelujah moment, it was like I was a crazy mum.'
When Poppy Nesbitt was old enough to be weaned from her milk, mum Helen would try her with soft solid foods. But after three or four mouthfuls, Helen noticed Poppy would start to choke and gag.
Mum Helen said: "It wasn't normal. After three mouthfuls she would be distressed and gag and choke and would need help getting the food back out. It took a year to get that hallelujah moment, it was like I was a crazy mum. Poppy, from Bolton, was transferred to Alder Hey and when she was two she had major surgery to stretch open her oesophagus in 2017. It wasn't until she was three that she was able to enjoy her first proper solid food.
Earlier this week, the 2023 items were released on sale and included adult's sizes, children's sizes and baby sleepwear as well as something for the pet.
