Much-loved McMonagles have been named in the final eight for the Restaurant Takeaway of the Year 2023 at the upcoming Scottish Takeaway Awards. Last year, the well-known eatery - which is located on a boat called the Debra Rose - took home the prestigious award for the first time, much to the delight of co-founder Agnes McMonagle.Chris has worked at the chippy since he was 16
She told the Glasgow Times at the time: “It was very, very nice to be recognised because we’ve been in Clydebank for nearly 30 years."Organisers of the awards have told the Post they will release a QR code in the next 24 hours which will allow people to vote for their favourite establishment.
