The 51 route between Stirling and Alloa is one of the routes affected by questions over service.
An MSP has held talks with McGill’s bosses in response to concerns raised by constituents over the bus services in the area.
Following the meeting, Mr Ruskell said: “I welcome the improvements that McGill’s have made to local bus services since taking over a year ago. We are not there yet, but the replacement of buses and recruitment of new drivers and engineers has clearly helped turn the corner. “I’m looking forward to McGill’s coming forward with proposals for increasing frequency of services and consideration of new and improved routes in the months ahead. “
