Footage shared with the ECHO shows a physical altercation
Merseyside Police received a report just after 8.30pm on Friday that a man had smashed the doors and windows of McDonald's on Lord Street in Liverpool city centre. Officers on horseback attended the scene and found the suspect nearby.
Video footage shared with the ECHO appears to show a man involved in a physical altercation with a police officer on the floor outside JD on Paradise Street. A voice could be heard shouting "stop fighting" as onlookers watched.A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assaulting an emergency worker. He has been released under investigation.
