If you’re looking to save some cash this Christmas, then get yourself down to Morrisons in Worcestershire.Shoppers at the St Andrew’s Square branch in Droitwich were dumbfounded after checking pricetags not once, but twice, as they started some early ChristmasThey noticed one 70cl bottle of Tennessee Honey Whiskey had been reduced from £17 to £16.99, saving customers a measly 1p.
Yellow discount stickers were slapped on a litre bottle of the Bardinet Vsop finest brandy which was down from £19 to £18.99. Two bottles of the 70cl flavoured Gordons Gins – Sicilian Lemon and Passionfruit – had meanwhile been marked down from £15 to £14.99. Bottles of the Jack Daniels apple and the cinnamon flavoured Tennessee fire whiskey were also reduced from £17 to £16.99.A spokesperson said: ‘The shelf edge label was printed incorrectly.’
