We can't see why you would want to enjoy a day out or holiday on the beautiful Morecambe Bay coast with Eden Project North on the way
Morecambe is a dead seaside town, with nothing on the horizon to look forward to, either. It doesn't offer stunning sunset views of Morecambe Bay, a wonderful night's stay in a historic art deco hotel or brilliant beaches.
"Whether you’re after cockles or craft beer from your seaside break this summer – well, we’ll leave that for you to decide," adds The Telegraph's travel expert, Chris Moss Back at the promenade and seafront, the beach, pier or taking in a show or live events at The Winter Gardens or The Platform, a restored Edwardian railway station aren't so appealing.
While afternoon tea with panoramic views of the bay and fresh fish and chips sitting on a bench on the prom while watching the waves laps the shore isn't on the cards here.
