A total of six people, aged between 22 and 48, have now been arrested
More searches and arrests have been by police in Derry on Sunday as part of an ongoing investigation focused on the New IRA, the PSNI say.
During those searches, police said a kilogram of plastic explosives, two grenades, two firearms, ammunition and cash were found. Earlier on Friday, Assistant Chief Constable Mark McEwan told a press conference a "primary line of enquiry" in their terrorism investigation was the New IRA.
