An 18-year-old is currently in hospital
An appeal has been launched after a serious collision involving a moped and a police van in Preston occurred.
At the time, the police van was travelling to an unrelated emergency call. The rider of the moped is an 18-year-old man from Preston, who has suffered a serious pelvic injury and remains in hospital at this time.Initially, the driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug-driving. However, he was later de-arrested pending further enquiries.
