Two men were hospitalised following the horror smash in Rusholme
Horrifying footage shows the moment a car flew through a junction and ploughed into a building leaving two men in hospital. The smash happened in Rusholme just after midnight in the early hours of Thursday morning .
A fire can be seen inside the building afterwards with the fire service confirming they extinguished a blaze. It's thought two people were in the car with an eyewitnesses saying the driver had to 'crawl' to safety. Rinzi Phoya, 50, whose dashcam captured the crash said: "I was on Wilmslow Road about to turn into Dickenson Road - they were coming from Dickenson Road.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At just after midnight on Thursday morning five fire engines from Withington, Gorton, Manchester Central, and Whitehill fire stations, along with the technical response unit from Ashton fire station were called to a road traffic collision involving two cars and a commercial building on Wilmslow Road, Rusholme.
