Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin has revealed academy startlet Cormac Daly is on the verge of completing a move to the English Premier League side Nottingham Forest, while the club have missed out on signing Owen Moffat from Blackpool.
Rankin told Lanarkshire Live Sport : "Cormac has been down to Nottingham Forest for talks and both clubs have spoken. Last week Moffat featured for Accies in a behind-closed-doors clash with Rangers, with a view to the former Celtic player returning to Scotland.
