The singer opened up about being Hannah Montana and has admitted touring for fans isn't something she loves
In celebration of the release of her new song "Used to Be Young", singer Miley Cyrus has released a TikTok series "looking back on my life and sharing untold stories from 1992 until now". The series has touched on her fame, how she became Hannah Montana and her beloved father, Billy Ray.
She explained that when she was a child, before her Disney breakthrough, her "fantasy was to light up the world with laughter, music and iconic moments that last beyond my lifetime". She added: "Decades later I continue to fulfil my purpose because of the love provided by my fans." "I grew up on a soundstage, like in a house with a family who was super close and all lived under the same roof, and I grew up financially stable and emotionally stable, I think, in my relationships also. That's something that my dad didn't have."
Now 30 years old, Miley has opened up on having her personal relationships play out in front of the world's media. "Having every day the relationship between you and other humans being subject and observer isn't healthy for me because it erases my humanity and my connection," she said.
