The diet expert has shared a tip that can help curve food cravings for those who are looking to shed some weight.
The nutrition expert is the inventor of popular diets plans such as Fast 800 and 5:2 diets, with his advice helping lots of people slim down. Michael has previously explained that carefully selecting the times in which you eat can help weight loss "easier".
"The group on a time-restricted eating plan, ate breakfast 90 minutes later than usual, and dinner 90 minutes earlier each day. They lost more body fat and saw bigger falls in blood sugar levels and cholesterol than the control group." The hack was backed by Nick Mitchell, a personal trainer and founder of Ultimate Performance. The PT explained that this is down to toothpaste, explaining: "Mint is great at suppressing cravings and your brain may also associate the taste of mint with the end-of-the-day brushing of your teeth, thus quelling your desire to eat."
