Warmer weather could be on the way at the end of the year
Britain could soon be set to warm up again, according to the Met Office. After weeks of unsettled conditions, downpours and chillier temperatures, the UK could be hit by an Iberian plume bringing 26C heat, The Mirror reports.
The weather maps show that between September 2 and September 6, the UK could enjoy a mini heatwave lasting at least five days. Areas such as London, East Anglia, and the Midlands will enjoy September temperatures higher than tourist hotspot Barcelona. Their long range forecast says that high pressure is likely to build next weekend which could, however, bring some drier and sunnier weather.
