Liverpool want to keep hold of Mohamed Salah despite continued transfer interest in the forward
Paul Merson believes Liverpool would be wise to cash in on Mohamed Salah should Al-Ittihad return with a transfer offer of £200million.

This scenario has created the obvious problem of fresh attempts to lure Salah, with Liverpool left unable to source a replacement.
"He's one of the best players in the world. It's a hard one," the ex-Arsenal midfielder told Sky Sports. "He is 31 years of age, £150million. If you sell him for £150m, what can you bring in? They're not going to be better than Salah or get as many goals. It's such a hard one. At the same time, are they going to win the league this season? I don' think so.
