The Sussexes left the UK after stepping down from their royal duties in 2020 and have since relocated to California where they have formed businesses and started a new life with their two kids, the Express reports. "I don't see that as a runner. They've got their own lives in California. They've got their own set, they've got their own influence, and they've got their own companies."
The Duke's trip falls at the same time as the one-year anniversary of the passing of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth who died aged 96 at Balmoral last September.
