A medical student who recovered from a rare cancer is the face of a new appeal for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

She was admitted to the Teenage Cancer Trust unit at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, which specialises caring for those aged 16-24. The unit has four in-patient beds, and bedrooms are equipped with comfy and cosy furnishings, TV and gaming facilities, and free Wi-Fi and laptops.
She explained: “Getting through all I went through without Fiona and Nicola would have been near impossible.
