Veganuary enthusiasts have another treat to try.
Those starting Veganuary next month will be excited to hear that McDonald's have announced a brand new burger to its vegan menu.
The item is basically a McPlant, but with double the amount of Beyond Meat patties. The burger also includes fresh onion, pickles, lettuce, tomato, a vegan sauce and vegan cheese that McDonalds promises tastes 'just like McDonalds iconic cheese slices'.The fast food giants have also stated that the Double McPlant is 'vegan certified'. This means that it is cooked separately from the other menu, with designated utensils.
And a third added: "Double McPlant is a game changer. I've really enjoyed it the couple of times I've had it, but it's just not big enough."
