The sudden passing of Matthew Perry is being looked into by robbery and homicide police, even though there were no signs of anything suspicious.
An initial post-mortem examination was put on hold while toxicology tests are carried out. The police said they didn't find any illegal drugs at his home, but there were prescription medications present. Since his death, his celebrity pals and devoted fans have posted touching tributes, including his famous Friends co-stars.
"In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world." They described Matthew as a "beloved friend" with a "selfless heart" and said they felt blessed to have known him and praised his brilliant talent.
