The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has conducted an autopsy on Matthew Perry and found no foul play in his death. A toxicology report is still pending to determine if he had a harmful amount of prescription drugs in his system.
The Friends star was found dead in the hot tub of his LA home just after 4PM on Saturday.
Full toxicology testing which is still pending, and may not be available for up to six months, according to the US celebrity news outlet. It has been reported that anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication was found at his home by investigators, as well as a COPD drug used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Matthew was a long-term smoker and had been open and honest with fans about his battles with alcohol and opiates throughout his life in his autobiography released last year. Matthew's body has now been released to his family, who released a statement reading: “Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend.Matthew's friends and co-stars from across the industry have been paying tribute to the star in the wake of his death though the remaining five lead Friends cast members have yet to speak publicly.
