Matt Taylor says a couple of Shrewsbury Town’s younger players may be allowed to leave on loan to gain valuable senior football this season.

Salop are currently focused on bringing in reinforcements to their squad ahead of the window closing next week.

“A couple of the younger ones might do to get some experience to play,” he said when asked if there were any potential loan moves. “And if we cannot offer that Saturday-Tuesday calendar of football then of course we have to make sure our players go and play football. “Where that is locally? I do not know, but I think it is the right thing to do as we are ultimately developing our own players.”
