The Little Britain comedian recently announced his departure from the Channel 4 show after three seasons.
, Matt admitted he had never even seen the show before being encouraged to sign up.
“They were just looking for a new host and it just came around at a time where I’d been living in LA for seven years. I’d just sold my house there and was thinking I was going to come back and spend a bit more time here with family and friends. Matt continued: “I went along with it and got the job, and then was like OK. It just kind of happened. It was exactly when the pandemic was, so it was the perfect pandemic job.
