Nikita Pathakji has been crowned the winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2022 after a nail-biting final.
The 25-year-old chef beat off competition from Charlie Jeffreys and Sagar Massey to land the top spot after impressing Michelin-starred Marcus Wareing, acclaimed chef Anna Haugh, and seasoned judge Gregg Wallace with her innovative dishes inspired by her travels.
Marcus added: ‘She’s a chef that has grown right in front of our eyes. Her food has been sublime and she’s always come up with an amazing twist.’ Chef’s Table was held this year at the five-star Lanesborough Hotel in London, and the guests held 19 Michelin stars between them.
