Mason Greenwood's 'most likely' destination after he leaves Manchester United has been revealed, according to a new report.
by mutual consent after a six-month internal investigation into his behaviour.
The 21-year-old has not played for the club, or trained with the senior squad, since being suspended in January 2022 following his arrest on suspicion of rape and assault. He was charged with attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in October.Then, in February, the charges were discontinued by the CPS due to a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses, and new material that came to light, meaning there was 'no longer a realistic prospect of conviction'.
Greenwood's contract at Old Trafford ends in 2025, and the club will look to either sell him or loan him out this summer.
