There's a new limited edition PS5 console coming soon, inspired by Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (contains affiliate links)
Sony has revealed a new limited-edition PS5 console to mark the upcoming release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
The new limited-edition design features black and red as the standout colours, with a large white Spider-Man logo and red symbiote tendrils that are inspired by Venom. The Marvel's Spider-Man 2 DualSense PS5 controller features a similar design, with the left half being black, and the right half seeing the wallcrawler's trademark red losing ground compared to the centre of the controller, which also features a Spider-Man logo, reports the Mirror.
Players can pre-order Marvel's Spider-Man 2 now, with three editions of the game available to purchase including the standard, Digital Deluxe and Collector's Edition, with the latter featuring a 19-inch statue of fan-favourite Spider-Man baddie Venom. From the gameplay footage we've seen so far, we know that Venom will feature as a villain in the game, as well as Kraven the Hunter and Dr Curt Connors AKA Lizard, with players set to have the ability to switch between Peter Parker and Miles Morales in-game, similar to how it's done in GTA 5, with Peter being Symbiote infested, hence the limited-edition PS5 console design and black suit that we see in the footage.
