Martin O'Neill summoned his inner Rod Stewart during a hilarious Carabaro Cup draw on Wednesday night.

Some tasty draws were pulled out for the second round, including Tottenham Hotspur travelling to Fulham and AFC Wimbledon being paired with Chelsea.But it was O'Neill's comical performance that had fans on in stitches on social media, with the former Celtic boss trending on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One viewer said on Twitter: "This is just amazing. Martin O’Neill speaks in to the ball whenever he draws out the ball."
