Martin Lewis has shared his expert advice for Scots who have experienced cancelled or delayed flights.
For instance, to get compensation for a cancelled flight, you may think that you have to put in a claim right away for any results. But according to Martin Lewis, Scots can make claims for flights impacted within the last five years. However, the expert stressed that the tips only apply if the cancelled or delayed flight is the airline's fault due to factors like staff shortages - compared to "extraordinary" weather events which they aren't responsible for.
Another tip Lewis shared relates to vouchers that airlines will often give to passengers as compensation. However, Lewis stressed that flyers aren't obligated to accept these instead of money.
