The Money Saving Expert was discussing the upcoming changes to everyone's student finance as people will be paying more back for longer periods. According to Martin Lewis, this means anyone planning to go to university will have to seriously think about whether its for them.

There was some good news in that the interest rate is being changed from up to inflation plus 3% to just up to inflation. However, he said that while this would be a popular move, the "truth" was the only people who would save on this was those who would clear the loan in full.
